Mo Salah scored the only goal that separated both sides from the meeting
- The Reds have pushed Chelsea down one spot on the log as they occupy second position with 23 points after nine EPL games
Mohamed Salah's lone goal in the 24th minute was all Liverpool needed to stretch their unbeaten run in the Premier League to nine games.
The Egyptian forward scored from a close range to ensure they beat their hosts Huddersfield Town at John Smith's Stadium on Saturday, October 20.
Their slim victory in the game pushed them to second on the EPL table after Chelsea shared spoils with Manchester United in their fixture at Stamford Bridge earlier in the day.
Mohamed Salah of Liverpool(C) celebrates after scoring his sides first goal during the Premier League match between Huddersfield Town and Liverpool FC at John Smith's Stadium on October 20, 2018.
Though Salah showed glimpses of his more composed self from last season he still seemed to be unsettled and wasted some good chances.

The Terriers however did not go down without a fight and reigned wave after wave of attacks on Liverpool record signing goalkeeper Alisson Becker, but to no avail as all attempts were thwarted.
Liverpool would certainly be delighted to take all three points away and the win will see them climb back up to second position on the log right behind Manchester City on Goal difference.
