It sounds improbable for someone to be able to call without having airtime on a SIM card, but it is not impossible. If you reside here in Nigeria and you have an Airtel SIM card, you can call any number without having airtime on your SIM card.

This does not mean that you can’t also call a number when you have airtime on your Airtel SIM as it is possible for you to call with or without having airtime on your Airtel SIM card. To clarify things for you, this is how the trick works.

Pick up your Airtel SIM card and dial **number e.g **08186583134. The number you dial will ring and cut immediately, meaning that you have called the number without having to spend any airtime.

With this, you can save some money from buying airtime or in case there is any emergency and you need to reach out to the supposed party and in the process, you don’t have airtime on your SIM card, you can just dial **number. There’s no how the recipient won’t receive the call except the person’s phone is switched off or in airplane mode.

This trick works on Airtel SIM cards only, if you happen to try this trick using any other network provider, I’m afraid that it won’t work for you.
