CHUKWUEZE Hot As Liecester Join

English Premier League club, Leicester City are trailing Nigeria winger Samuel Chukwueze.

Chukwueze is currently with the Nigerian squad at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.

According to a report on Leicester City Mercury, the 20-year-old is one of the nine wingers shortlisted by Brendan Rodgers as he looks to revamp his squad ahead of the new campaign.

The former Swansea and Liverpool gaffer also pencilled Maxwell Cornet, Brais Mendez, Bertrand Traore, Leon Bailey,Florian Thauvin, Nicholas Pepe,Hakim Ziyech and Malcom on the shortlist.

Leicester are understood to have made contact with the Villarreal winger, although Manchester City and Arsenal have also made enquires.

At 20 years and 49 days, Chukwueze became the youngest scorer at this year’s Africa Cup Of Nations tournament, when he grabbed his first international goal for the Super Eagles in the quarter-final win over South Africa.

Chukwueze scored 10 goals and provided three assists in 40 appearances in his first season with Villarreal.
