The United Nations has blamed the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari of not doing enough on killings, human rights violation, corruption and some other issues currently ravaging the country. The Human Rights Committee of the (UN) said this in a report released at the conclusion of its review of the implementation of the provisions of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights in Nigeria.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has suspended Hon. Ndudi Elumelu (Aniocha/Oshimili-Delta State) and six other PDP members of the House of Representatives. The other PDP reps that were also suspended include member representing Oriade/Obokun Federal Constituency of Osun State, Wole Oke; member representing Onitsha North and Onitsha South Federal constituency, Lynda Ikpeazu; member representing Ezza North/Ishielu federal constituency, Anayo Edwin; member representing Kaura Federal Constituency election in Kaduna State, Gideon Gwani; member representing Aninri/Awgu/Oji River Federal Constituency of Enugu State, Toby Okechukwu and member representing Ijebu-North/Ijebu-East / Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency, Adekoya Abdul-Majid.

President Muhammadu Buhari has made twelve (12) new appointments for his second term in office tagged “Next Level“. Naija News understands that the President approved the re-appointment of Abba Kyari as his Chief of Staff (COS) and Boss Mustapha as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).

The embattled senator representing Adamawa North Senatorial District, Elisha Ishaqu Abbo, has been released on bail by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command.
