Our Biggest Problems In Nigeria,

Oba Rilwan Akiolu, the Oba of Lagos has stated that one of the country’s former President, Olusegun Obasanjo is Nigeria’s biggest problem.

The Oba of Lagos made this known while speaking at the public presentation of Battlelines: Adventures in Journalism and Politics, a book written by Chief Olusegun Osoba, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress.

The event which was held in Victoria Island Lagos, at the Eko Hotels had Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo in attendance. Ahmed Lawan, the President of the Senate and the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress APC, Bola Tinubu, were also in attendance.

The Lagos Traditional Ruler had made reference to a section of Osoba’s memoir where he made the claim that the former president had deceptively ‘played’ the governors of the South West who were at the time under the Alliance for Democracy and Afenifere.

Oba Rilwan Akiolu then revealed that he had always held the belief that the former President from Ogun State was not a straightforward person.

The traditional ruler added that it was a knowledge of this fact that saved and actually sustained Bola Tinubu, who was the then Governor of Lagos at the time.

“The problem we are having in this country is this and I will continue to say it that the number one problem of Nigeria is Obasanjo,” Akiolu said.
