The controversial dance ‘soapy’ which broke the internet after it was first released by Nigerian rapper Naira Marley has sparked reactions again from Nigerians after a Celestial member was spotted dancing it during Sunday service yesterday. Watch the video below;

According to what was seen in  ‘disturbing’video, shared by the blogger,  TundeEdnut, the celestial member was seen  dancing Naira Marley soapy dance in church gleefully as he was been filmed while they were having a praise and worship section. See reactions below;

The controversial dance which has broke the internet has now be taken to the house of God as a celestial member danced unashamedly to it inside the church.

Alot of Nigerians appalled by such display in a sacred place as a church took to their social media handle to condemn outrightly what the man was doing dancing such in the church. This goes to show the height of moral decadency that has infiltrated the church.

If you recall,  some days back, Nigerian rapper, Naira Marley released his controversial single, ‘Soapy’ as well as the dance routine that came with it. As the song has surged in numbers and up the charts, criticism for the song and the accompanying dance have also soared.

Popular dancer, Kafayat Shafau, otherwise known as Kaffy, has condemned the controversial dance step, Soapy, popularised by musician, Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley. The dance step, which is done by imitating the act of masturbation, was demonstrated in a video posted by Naira Marley last week.

Reacting to the dance step, however, Kaffy, who is a Guinness World Record holder in dance, said on Instagram, “I am sorry; I can’t take this. I have never seen a more disgusting, immoral dance like the so-called Soapy. It should never be encouraged. I am really disappointed.”

“As dancers we should speak for what is right. We shouldn’t encourage this for the sake of trending especially when it is not even censored from kids. To an adult, it is even offensive. Rubbish!”
