There are indications that President Muhammmadu Buhari has suspended the Ruga settlement initiated by the Federal government even as Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and some Governors representing each of the six geopolitical zones, are currently meeting on food security, at the Presidential Villa

The meeting is coming amidst speculations that President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered the suspension of the controversial Ruga settlements.

The Vice President doubles as the Chairman of the team supervising the National Livestock Transformation Plan approved by State governors as well as the National Economic Council (NEC)
